Connect with the Qur’an

In times of suffering and injustice, taking care of yourself and prioritizing your wellbeing is important. This includes reconnecting with Allah swt by increasing our acts of worship, for “surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort” [13:28].

Check out this webinar by Yaqeen Institute on the importance of connecting with the Qur’an and applying a Qur’anic lens into our lives, even during moments of crisis.

During this time, one action you can take is hosting a virtual Qur’an recitation session(s) dedicated to Gaza. You can invite your family, friends, or community and have participants take turns reciting verses. Alternatively, people can sign up to read a juz, or part, of the Qur’an in order to finish the Qur’an collectively.

Access the Qur’an including various translations here.
